Within two hours of reporting his truck missing, John Sanchez of Miami Lakes, FL had his vehicle back, thanks to MobileGuardian, a vehicle recovery and location device that allows customers to view location data online and on demand. Mr. Sanchez awoke to find his new Ford F-350 was not in his driveway, where he parked it the night before. He immediately logged in to the MobileGuardian Web site to perform a "locate" and safely disabled the vehicle. The locate procedure provided John with an address and map of the vehicle's location, which he then relayed to police. By disabling the vehicle, it prevented the truck from being restarted.
Officer Juan Acosta of the Hialeah Police Dept was on-scene as the vehicle was recovered. "We were very impressed with how fast and how accurate the MobileGuardian system performed.
